Intro Blog

 Hey, my name is Val and I'm a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale High School and this is my intro/ get to know me. I do kinda tend to forget basically everything about me when I'm asked to introduce myself but I'm trying my best here. So I guess my favorite classes in school probably have to be Media Studies and Psych. After school, I really enjoy chilling at home and scrolling on Insta, YouTube, maybe sometimes TikTok. I'll also play Roblox with my friends while we're on call, it's a lot of fun. I do wish I could spend all my time like this, but realistically, that's not possible. I'm getting kind of sidetracked, so let me get back to the original purpose of this intro. This is very, very, and I mean VERY cliche but my favorite color is black. It's a color you 99% of the time will see me wearing, I just can't live without it. Basically all of my wardrobe is just full of black with some outliers of other darker colors. I don't think I have any actual hobbies, but I like drawing occasionally. Right now, I'm learning to ice skate because I want to learn to play my favorite sport: hockey. I'm a huge NHL fan, but since I live in Florida I'm biased towards Florida Panthers. I've been watching them play since 2022 so I grew fond of them and I'm a big fan. Oh, and I also really like rock music. I'm kind of using that as an umbrella term, so to specify, I mean pop punk, emo, and modern rock. My favorite band of all time is My Chemical Romance, and I also really love Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, and blink-182 to name a few. I forgot to mention my family, I have a dog and a sister. My sister is way older than me though, we have a 13 year age gap. My dog is named Bruno and he's a 1 year old miniature poodle. If I'm being honest, I can't really think of anything else to put here. So that will be all for now until my next blog. Thank you to whoever reads this really exaggerated entry (I had to make it like that for the sake of it being "creative") and manages to not pass away from the sheer amount of cringe!!

 I have set out to begin working on my music video. I have a few volunteers for acting, which is really good. I plan to be in charge of filming and editing because that's what I do best. I used to have a YouTube channel from the ages of 9-12, so I have experience in that field. For a while, editing was my passion, and I'm confident I can make a decent final product. After I made my storyboard, I visualized the main idea for the project. As the first step, I started off by downloading the necessary editing apps. Then, I sought out to research cameras and maybe see if I could buy one that is better quality than my phone. This did not work out, I am broke and cannot afford the camera I so dearly want. Production: Script/Screenplay

 My script doesn't have much dialogue whatsoever. It actually only has two lines where the characters speak. The point of the lack of speech in the script is to create a sense of mystery and suspense. I want whoever is watching to be confused as to what's happening. This will have them wondering what this suspicious character is about to do. I will copy and paste my script here so that you can read it. INT. CHARACTER 1'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - DUSK To establish the scene, Character 1 is seen setting up the Christmas tree.  EXT. Our Pitch

 Pitch 1: Long lost twins find each other after being switched up at birth Pitch 2: Millionaire leaves his wife for someone else under the assumption that she's poor, but she turns out to be the richest person in the world I probably wouldn't be interested in doing the first plot. This is because it's super basic, just very cliche. To be honest, me and my partner haven't had the chance to discuss anything. We just agreed to come up with random plots then mutually agree on one. But the first plot I definitely wouldn't pick, only because of how unoriginal it is. Pitch 2 is more interesting to me personally, so I would most likely pick this one. These kinds of dramas are also common, but they're just way more entertaining. It's also really enjoyable, and with the right technique, you can make it more unique than other dramas.
