Title Research: Hostage

-What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?

The first titles to be displayed are the film companies, the production companies, and who the film is by. Then, it shows the cast starring in the film, the title of the movie itself, the rest of the cast, who the casting is by, who the music is by, co producer, costume design, editing, production design, director of photography, executive producers, produced by, based on the novel by, screenplay by, and directed by.

 - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?

In the opening sequence, a lot of imagery containing weapons is prioritized. Lots of the titles appear on some sort of weapon, structure, or type of equipment.

 - How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the opening sequence?

Lots of use of dark colors, such as black and red in a bloody tint. The use of weapon silhouettes in the title sequence also establishes a feeling of thrill and suspense. The backgrounds also have a somewhat stained look, and make the title sequence feel mysterious and dangerous.
