Production: Filming Day

Since I already filmed my project, I’m going to talk about how filming day went. I remember the exact day I filmed, December 16th. This was right before winter break began, and it was a Saturday. Me and my elementary school best friends were having a sleepover at one of their houses, and she had her house all decorated for Christmas. Holidays at that house are always the best. It's like living in a hallmark movie, just magical. Anyway, I had asked my friends if they wanted to help me with my movie. I didn't have anyone else to film with, and they were the only people I had available. The location was really nice, I mean, it's my best friend's house. It's one of the best places on earth. The timing was also just super convenient, so I figured that I would film then and get it over with. I'm glad I did, because I really feel like I'm one step ahead of everyone. Most people are just now getting to filming, but I basically am done. Well, not really, I still need to edit. Anyway, I was getting off track, so let me continue. Filming day was really fun, but there were some challenges. I kept needing to cut the ending scenes because my friends were laughing a lot, so there's a ton of bloopers. For the outside scenes, it actually began raining, so I had to wrap it up, otherwise we'd get rained on. We got lucky it was just a drizzle and not sudden heavy rainfall. I had everything planned out so I knew what I wanted my friends to do and I directed them from there. In general, it went pretty smoothly.
