Production: Props and stuff

Today I'm going to talk about the most random things ever, because I've officially run out of stuff to talk about. I'm holding off on finishing editing for blogs due in March. Right now, I can probably talk about costumes and if they were involved. They were not. The closest thing to a costume was just having one of my friends put on a hood to conceal their identity. It hadn't crossed my mind to use any costumes or props. I most likely thought this because I figured that they weren't necessary. Turns out, I was actually right. I don't really see any place for props in my movie, or costumes. I think things worked out pretty fine without props. Well, now that I think about it, would butter count as a prop? A stick of butter was used in the movie, and now I don't know if it counts. I mean, it was real butter, so why would it count? Aren't props supposed to be fake? Oh well, that should just be up for debate. I want to talk about something personal, if that's okay. I broke up with my boyfriend yesterday, and I'm sad and mad. Yet at the same time I'm okay with it. It just wasn't meant to be I guess, I'll be fine eventually. My apologies for getting off track, thanks for reading today's ramble!

 I have set out to begin working on my music video. I have a few volunteers for acting, which is really good. I plan to be in charge of filming and editing because that's what I do best. I used to have a YouTube channel from the ages of 9-12, so I have experience in that field. For a while, editing was my passion, and I'm confident I can make a decent final product. After I made my storyboard, I visualized the main idea for the project. As the first step, I started off by downloading the necessary editing apps. I had a lack of actors present, so I needed to improvise and work with what I had. My original idea was to represent the struggle between powerful and lower social classes. Due to the lack of actors and inability to find a proper location that would work for all members, I had to change the entire plot and setting of my music video. While inconvenient in the moment, this occurrence actually allowed for a whole new meaning to be created. Schedule 1/20/24-1/20/24       Filming will begin at the designated location. I will be in charge of filming and editing. All scenes will be filmed during this time, this includes beginning and ending scenes.  1/26/24-1/26/24      I will proceed to edit the film, During the time frame from filming to editing, I will compile sound effects and music for the background needed.
