Production: It's March and I Need Music

 New month, and we're already nearly halfway through it. My movie hasn't changed much because I've been so busy with my other classes. I also feel a bit depressed from my breakup, so I've just been putting things off for last minute. I really don't have any motivation to do anything. I also ruined my posture and I'm desperately trying to fix it. Sadly, I'm gonna have to do a lot of work today anyway. I remembered I have to look for non copyright music for my movie intro. YouTube has a lot, so I've been browsing around and I found a song from this channel called Power Music Factory. It perfectly captures the mysterious feel I want to create. If my movie isn't mysterious enough by itself, then music and filters will help it. I want to see if I can find a filter that makes the lighting and corners a little darker. Hopefully, this will be achievable. I'm pretty sure that Videoshop has a filter like that, which would be great if it actually does. Since the chosen time for filming was around sunset, the lighting is already somewhat low. Another thing I may need is sound effects. There's this one sound effect that I don't know the name of, but it's used in like scary stuff. The only way I can describe it is that it's a violin sounding thing. It's supposed to be eerie, and I want to use it to create suspense. I'll look for sound effects that are similar to that, then I'll update in my next blog. Can't wait to get this over with, I'm tired of blogs.

 I have set out to begin working on my music video. I have a few volunteers for acting, which is really good. I plan to be in charge of filming and editing because that's what I do best. I used to have a YouTube channel from the ages of 9-12, so I have experience in that field. For a while, editing was my passion, and I'm confident I can make a decent final product. After I made my storyboard, I visualized the main idea for the project. As the first step, I started off by downloading the necessary editing apps. Then, I sought out to research cameras and maybe see if I could buy one that is better quality than my phone. This did not work out, I am broke and cannot afford the camera I so dearly want. I had a lack of actors present, so I needed to improvise and work with what I had. My original idea was to represent the struggle between powerful and lower social classes. Due to the lack of actors and inability to find a proper location that would work for all members, I had to change the entire plot and setting of my music video. While inconvenient in the moment, this occurrence actually allowed for a whole new meaning to be created. The final product can be interpreted as a representation of the struggle that those in society seen as helpless have versus those who could easily overpower them. Schedule 1/20/24-1/20/24       Filming will begin at the designated location. I will be in charge of filming and editing. All scenes will be filmed during this time, this includes beginning and ending scenes.  1/26/24-1/26/24      I will proceed to edit the film, During the time frame from filming to editing, I will compile sound effects and music for the background needed.
