Group Blog

 Hi, so far I have one person who I will be working with on the final task. I'm going to work with my friend Gabe F from our 8th period Media class. We're currently thinking of other people we can add to our team, but because our teachers are bullying us (jk), we are forced to turn these blogs in the day we got them assigned. Right now it's just us, but we'll most likely add other people. Whoever doesn't join is mean and evil and will get a -E on the AICE Media exam (also jk). I decided to work with Gabe because although he's a very silly and goofy person, he is actually very smart. He's extremely smart when he locks in and has to do work, and I know he will bring good ideas to the table. I'm pretty confident that the both of us can come up with something great. If we get more people to join our group, it'll definitely be even better. I have a camera, so I can use that to film, unless someone else has a better camera. But I wanna get those puffy things you put on the camera to stop the wind from ruining the sound. I think it's a wind muff or something and they're pretty cheap. I remember last year I wanted a better camera for Media but I never got one and had to use my phone. Maybe this year for Christmas I will get one, if I get enough money from relatives. I do want to use the money to buy clothes though, so maybe it'll be my actual gift instead. But I want a new phone because my current one is beginning to pass away. Oh well, if anything, I can just wait 5 months for my birthday (no I cannot wait... I need this new phone NOW). I got off topic again, but it's okay. To conclude this, Gabe and I are gonna make something cool, hopefully!

 I have set out to begin working on my music video. I have a few volunteers for acting, which is really good. I plan to be in charge of filming and editing because that's what I do best. I used to have a YouTube channel from the ages of 9-12, so I have experience in that field. For a while, editing was my passion, and I'm confident I can make a decent final product. After I made my storyboard, I visualized the main idea for the project. As the first step, I started off by downloading the necessary editing apps. Production: Script/Screenplay

 My script doesn't have much dialogue whatsoever. It actually only has two lines where the characters speak. The point of the lack of speech in the script is to create a sense of mystery and suspense. I want whoever is watching to be confused as to what's happening. This will have them wondering what this suspicious character is about to do. I will copy and paste my script here so that you can read it. INT. CHARACTER 1'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - DUSK To establish the scene, Character 1 is seen setting up the Christmas tree.  EXT. Our Pitch

 Pitch 1: Long lost twins find each other after being switched up at birth Pitch 2: Millionaire leaves his wife for someone else under the assumption that she's poor, but she turns out to be the richest person in the world I probably wouldn't be interested in doing the first plot. This is because it's super basic, just very cliche. To be honest, me and my partner haven't had the chance to discuss anything. We just agreed to come up with random plots then mutually agree on one. But the first plot I definitely wouldn't pick, only because of how unoriginal it is. Pitch 2 is more interesting to me personally, so I would most likely pick this one. These kinds of dramas are also common, but they're just way more entertaining. It's also really enjoyable, and with the right technique, you can make it more unique than other dramas.
