Intro Blog

 Hi again, it's been nearly a year since I've written on this blog. Well, already a year since I first started writing on it. You probably already know my name, but let's start over. I'm Vale, some of my friends call me Val, but I prefer Vale (shoutout to the 4 people who do call me that). I'm now in 11th grade and I'll turn 17 in May, which is 5 months from now. I really can't wait to turn 17, and then 18 so I can have more freedom with my life!! This year, instead of being in AS level Media Studies, I've advanced to A level. There's not much about me that's changed since last year, and when I'm supposed to remember who I am on the spot I kinda forget what I like. I still like the same music and stuff, and games probably. I don't really have time to play games now because of how busy junior year is. Maybe this is just a taste of what adult life will be like sadly. Whenever I do have the time, I'll play Roblox. I really like that game and Minecraft as well, but I like Roblox more now. One other thing about me is that I love to procrastinate. I haven't turned in anything late this year YET... but I might slack a little and do things last moment. I think it's because I work more efficiently under pressure. A lot of people do the same thing so everything is totally fine. Anyway, I'm getting a little sidetracked now. I can't wait to work with my friends to make a really cool final task!

 I have set out to begin working on my music video. I have a few volunteers for acting, which is really good. I plan to be in charge of filming and editing because that's what I do best. I used to have a YouTube channel from the ages of 9-12, so I have experience in that field. For a while, editing was my passion, and I'm confident I can make a decent final product. After I made my storyboard, I visualized the main idea for the project. As the first step, I started off by downloading the necessary editing apps. Then, I sought out to research cameras and maybe see if I could buy one that is better quality than my phone. This did not work out, I am broke and cannot afford the camera I so dearly want. Okay well, I'm not broke, just cheap. On top of that, I only have enough money for a cheap camera, and I refuse to settle for lower quality. Production: Script/Screenplay

 My script doesn't have much dialogue whatsoever. It actually only has two lines where the characters speak. The point of the lack of speech in the script is to create a sense of mystery and suspense. I want whoever is watching to be confused as to what's happening. This will have them wondering what this suspicious character is about to do. I will copy and paste my script here so that you can read it. INT. CHARACTER 1'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - DUSK To establish the scene, Character 1 is seen setting up the Christmas tree.  EXT. CHARACTER 1'S HOUSE - ACROSS THE STREET - DUSK  Character 2 stands menacingly outside Character 1's house, with the objective to enter.  EXT. Our Pitch

 Pitch 1: Long lost twins find each other after being switched up at birth Pitch 2: Millionaire leaves his wife for someone else under the assumption that she's poor, but she turns out to be the richest person in the world I probably wouldn't be interested in doing the first plot. This is because it's super basic, just very cliche. To be honest, me and my partner haven't had the chance to discuss anything. We just agreed to come up with random plots then mutually agree on one. But the first plot I definitely wouldn't pick, only because of how unoriginal it is. Pitch 2 is more interesting to me personally, so I would most likely pick this one. These kinds of dramas are also common, but they're just way more entertaining. It's also really enjoyable, and with the right technique, you can make it more unique than other dramas.
