Research: How to make a short film

What is your takeaway from the video? What good information did you gather while watching it? How do you envision this helping you through your short film process?

-My key takeaway from the video is that casting matters way more than people think it does. A film doesn't need to have much of a story to it as long as the cast knows what's happening. A well chosen soundtrack and good sound in general can help make or break a film. Never EVER cut corners if you want to make something of genuinely good quality. This helped me through my short film process by teaching me that a lot of effort goes into short films, even if they are only 5 minutes or 25 minutes. Planning is key, and always put thought and effort into planning, as this determines how well your film does and the quality of the final product.
