Production Blog- The Finalized Script
So, we haven't actually gotten to filming yet, but the script is in the works. It's currently done, but we plan on refining and editing it. Writing a script is actually hard, to be honest. You have to come up with an entire dialogue and make it match with the storyline. It's hard enough to come up with a plot, man! I'm not a good writer whatsoever, nor am I creative at all. Thankfully, Gabe wrote the script for us and I'm supposed to do video editing. I have no idea when we're going to film, but it shouldn't take long. He's going to do his part at home, and his girlfriend will help us and she's gonna film her part at home too. For my scene, we need to go out, so currently, we've been discussing that. Returning to the subject of the script, my lines are pretty easy and I need to memorize them. It shouldn't be that hard to, I have the least lines out of all characters. The script that Gabe wrote is pretty funny in my opinion. While it is cringey and corny, it gets the job done, so we know it's good. I mean, that is pretty much the whole purpose of our idea. If it's supposed to be corny on purpose yet doesn't fulfill that requirement, then we wouldn't be staying true to the idea. I'm a little concerned with the timing, like if we will make it to 5 minutes. If we don't meet the requirement, we're gonna have to add on more lines. That would be mean changing the script almost entirely, Hopefully, it doesn't come down to that and we have enough in the script to cover the required 5 minutes. I'm sure we'll be fine either way.
