Production Blog- Random

 I don’t have many updates today, unfortunately. All we did in class was just go over the script again and discuss project related things. We’re pretty much ready to go, we just need to get filming. I just remembered that we still have to make the website. Great, as if I’m not already overwhelmed with all of my other classes. I stayed home one day today and suddenly I have a zero for an assignment I turned in ages ago?? Dr. B I swear if you don’t fix my grade, you’re going to become my opp! Whatever, but now I have to wait until Friday to get it fixed. I hope he didn’t lose my essay or I’m gonna lose my mind. On top of that, I have a chem test tomorrow, and I still need to finish the review for it. I have two APUSH homework, one that was due this morning and another due tomorrow. I have to make up AP Human Geography work that was supposed to be in class today but I was absent. It feels like so much. I was supposed to do it in the time frame that would be school, but my mom ended dragging me out to go to the doctor and run errands. Now I’m literally going to get home around the time I usually do from school and I’m actually so angry. I basically was absent for no reason, now I’m incredibly overwhelmed. I genuinely hate this year and it’s all too much for me. I wish my teachers would just chill out and stop assigning so much work. I feel sick, I don’t even know where to start. Sorry for this being a vent post but I have nothing to write.

 I have set out to begin working on my music video. I have a few volunteers for acting, which is really good. I plan to be in charge of filming and editing because that's what I do best. I used to have a YouTube channel from the ages of 9-12, so I have experience in that field. For a while, editing was my passion, and I'm confident I can make a decent final product. After I made my storyboard, I visualized the main idea for the project. As the first step, I started off by downloading the necessary editing apps. Then, I sought out to research cameras and maybe see if I could buy one that is better quality than my phone. This did not work out, I am broke and cannot afford the camera I so dearly want. Okay well, I'm not broke, just cheap. On top of that, I only have enough money for a cheap camera, and I refuse to settle for lower quality. Production: Script/Screenplay

 My script doesn't have much dialogue whatsoever. It actually only has two lines where the characters speak. The point of the lack of speech in the script is to create a sense of mystery and suspense. I want whoever is watching to be confused as to what's happening. This will have them wondering what this suspicious character is about to do. I will copy and paste my script here so that you can read it. INT. CHARACTER 1'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - DUSK To establish the scene, Character 1 is seen setting up the Christmas tree.  EXT. CHARACTER 1'S HOUSE - ACROSS THE STREET - DUSK  Character 2 stands menacingly outside Character 1's house, with the objective to enter.  EXT. Our Pitch

 Pitch 1: Long lost twins find each other after being switched up at birth Pitch 2: Millionaire leaves his wife for someone else under the assumption that she's poor, but she turns out to be the richest person in the world I probably wouldn't be interested in doing the first plot. This is because it's super basic, just very cliche. To be honest, me and my partner haven't had the chance to discuss anything. We just agreed to come up with random plots then mutually agree on one. But the first plot I definitely wouldn't pick, only because of how unoriginal it is. Pitch 2 is more interesting to me personally, so I would most likely pick this one. These kinds of dramas are also common, but they're just way more entertaining. It's also really enjoyable, and with the right technique, you can make it more unique than other dramas.
