Production Blog- Setting Things into Motion

 Great news everybody! We made immediate plans to begin our filming! It's going to take place on Saturday, March 1st. This is perfect, since it gives us around 6 days to edit and refine the film. This is more than enough time. I need to start hyping myself up for it and making sure that I don't slack whatsoever. I feel like a weight is lifted off my shoulders now. It's so relieving knowing that the plans are officially being set into motion, and all is well. We also have all the props we need to film, so we're pretty much very prepared. We have an established meeting location, which is great! All we need to do now is meet up and begin filming. Pretty much everything else is taken care of. We have a prototype for the postcard and movie. Gabe is making the social media pages.  I’m in charge of doing the postcard thing, but unfortunately, something has gone wrong. There’s a wifi outage in my area. I’m not surprised, this literally happens all the time. My house always has wifi issues, our router box thing has burned out twice. And the cable that goes under the ground got struck by lightning somehow?? As a result we had to get it replaced. But this wifi SUCKS. I tried to submit my assignment for AP Seminar and it took 40 minutes. I won’t even be surprised if it takes another 40 minutes for this blog to post, but hopefully it doesn’t. But yeah, pretty much we’re officially about to get done with this project, so that’s gonna be fun.

Production: Script/Screenplay

 My script doesn't have much dialogue whatsoever. It actually only has two lines where the characters speak. The point of the lack of speech in the script is to create a sense of mystery and suspense. I want whoever is watching to be confused as to what's happening. This will have them wondering what this suspicious character is about to do. I will copy and paste my script here so that you can read it. INT. Our Pitch

 Pitch 1: Long lost twins find each other after being switched up at birth Pitch 2: Millionaire leaves his wife for someone else under the assumption that she's poor, but she turns out to be the richest person in the world I probably wouldn't be interested in doing the first plot. This is because it's super basic, just very cliche. To be honest, me and my partner haven't had the chance to discuss anything. We just agreed to come up with random plots then mutually agree on one. But the first plot I definitely wouldn't pick, only because of how unoriginal it is. Pitch 2 is more interesting to me personally, so I would most likely pick this one. These kinds of dramas are also common, but they're just way more entertaining. It's also really enjoyable, and with the right technique, you can make it more unique than other dramas.
