Production Blog- Website Planning

 It’s about time that we need to begin working on our website. I think we can use Wix, so that’s what we’re gonna do. I’ve never used it before, but it can’t be that hard. I don’t really know what design we’ll go with or how we’ll even market the film. Do we make the website first or the film?? Probably the film. If that’s the case, we need to get to recording NOW! February will almost be over before we know it, and the deadline is approaching. My stomach hurts thinking of deadlines. Maybe I’m not built for school or work life in general because I don’t do deadlines. They’re not for me, but I gotta follow them anyway. I feel incredibly stressed because of my other classes. I also have the SAT coming up soon which doesn’t help. My hair is gonna end up falling out completely from the stress. Anyway, back to what I was originally talking about. So for the website, I think we should look at comedy posters and advertisements and get inspiration from there. If we do that, the website should turn out good. I’m no graphic designer by any means, but if we try to mimic what actual movies do for their websites and posters, everything should be fine. I hope so. I can’t wait for this year to be over.

 I have set out to begin working on my music video. I have a few volunteers for acting, which is really good. I plan to be in charge of filming and editing because that's what I do best. I used to have a YouTube channel from the ages of 9-12, so I have experience in that field. For a while, editing was my passion, and I'm confident I can make a decent final product. After I made my storyboard, I visualized the main idea for the project. As the first step, I started off by downloading the necessary editing apps. Then, I sought out to research cameras and maybe see if I could buy one that is better quality than my phone. This did not work out, I am broke and cannot afford the camera I so dearly want. Production: Script/Screenplay

 My script doesn't have much dialogue whatsoever. It actually only has two lines where the characters speak. The point of the lack of speech in the script is to create a sense of mystery and suspense. I want whoever is watching to be confused as to what's happening. This will have them wondering what this suspicious character is about to do. I will copy and paste my script here so that you can read it. INT. CHARACTER 1'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - DUSK To establish the scene, Character 1 is seen setting up the Christmas tree.  EXT. CHARACTER 1'S HOUSE - ACROSS THE STREET - DUSK  Character 2 stands menacingly outside Character 1's house, with the objective to enter.  EXT. Our Pitch

 Pitch 1: Long lost twins find each other after being switched up at birth Pitch 2: Millionaire leaves his wife for someone else under the assumption that she's poor, but she turns out to be the richest person in the world I probably wouldn't be interested in doing the first plot. This is because it's super basic, just very cliche. To be honest, me and my partner haven't had the chance to discuss anything. We just agreed to come up with random plots then mutually agree on one. But the first plot I definitely wouldn't pick, only because of how unoriginal it is. Pitch 2 is more interesting to me personally, so I would most likely pick this one. These kinds of dramas are also common, but they're just way more entertaining. It's also really enjoyable, and with the right technique, you can make it more unique than other dramas.
