 So far, nobody in the group has been active. This isn't a good thing. I'm going out with my boyfriend today, well, not really. We're just going to his house to watch Mean Girls. But I think I might try to film the video with him. My mom yelled at me and told me to not go out anywhere to celebrate Halloween or whatever. That makes me really angry, because we wanted to go to Rio Vista to hang out with other friends and he's begging me to go because "she won't know," but I really don't want to run the risk of getting in trouble. He said we don't have to go if it'll actually get me in trouble, and I agree. I just thought going could be a good opportunity to film the video and get it over with. I might have to arrange another day to film, or else I'll never get it done and I'll fail. Right now, I'm in algebra 2 and I am absolutely hating it. We just took a test, and I'm pretty sure I failed it, because I always do. I managed to pass

My group and I have still not found a date and time to film. As stated in the previous blog, everyone is so busy. It seems nearly impossible to find a day in which everyone is free. I don't really need all members of the group though. I think I only need about 2-4 people as actors. The proposed location for filming is the mall, and I guess it'll work. The mall wouldn't work for my original song idea, which is why I had decided to change it. A public location will definitely be great for the new song I chose, One Way Or Another. I have to think about if any props will be needed. I wanted to include an end scene with the main subject on the floor, dead, and with police surrounding them. Basically, a crime scene. I wanted to incorporate a scene like that because the new storyline would be about stalking. The main character/actor would be stalked by a serial killer, and eventually backed up into a corner where they get killed. It's supposed to give off an ominous, suspensef

 Okay, so I finally found a group to work with. Technically, we aren't "working together." But, we're going to help each other. I might just help them with their video, and in exchange, they will help me with mine. I realize my original idea for my video might be too complicated to execute, so I'm going to change the song and story. I will use One Way Or Another by Blondie. It's another one of those songs with lyrics that are pretty easy to understand and you can make up a music video for it in your head. Since the filming location will be in public, the song will work better with what I'm going to be doing with the actors. The new video will be about someone being stalked by another person. It could be a serial killer or just plain old weird stalker. I don't know if that would be considered "inappropriate," but I know for a fact it won't be graphic or anything. I am still really stressed about this project. I have people asking if I want to be part of their project now. I thought about joining, but I'd have to change my storyboard and other blogs. I think I'm just going to stick to my own idea and decide on who should be in my video. I hate being absent, because I miss important stuff like the day we had to join a group. Literally every time I'm not at school, I miss something in this class. I also don't like how we have a blog due like every 3 days. I have other classes that I need to do work for, you know. I can't think of 20 sentences to write within 72 hours, it's kind of challenging thinking of something to bring up. There's so many blogs, I think I'm going to run out of things to say. If anything, I'm already running out of stuff to talk about here. Why does it have to be exactly 20 sentences? My life would be a lot easier if it was 15 rather than 20.  I have set out to begin working on my music video. I have a few volunteers for acting, which is really good. I plan to be in charge of filming and editing because that's what I do best. I used to have a YouTube channel from the ages of 9-12, so I have experience in that field. For a while, editing was my passion, and I'm confident I can make a decent final product. After I made my storyboard, I visualized the main idea for the project. As the first step, I started off by downloading the necessary editing apps. Then, I sought out to research cameras and maybe see if I could buy one that is better quality than my phone. This did not work out, I am broke and cannot afford the camera I so dearly want. Okay well, I'm not broke, just cheap. On top of that, I only have enough money for a cheap camera, and I refuse to settle for lower quality. If I can convince my parents to get me a $400 camera, that'd be awesome! I would love to get my hands on a Canon EOS Rebel T100. Or may

 In the first scene, Character B is shown to have a hood. As they turn, they remove their hood, the scene is a mid shot. In the second scene, it will be a close up of Character B holding up their hand with a weapon of some sorts in it. It's supposed to represent how they plan to take down Character C. The third scene is a flashback of both Characters B and C. Said flashback details how Character C was a friend to Character B. It details the relationship they have/had and is the reason why Character B is reluctant to harm them. The fourth scene will show Character B reminiscing. They're sitting on the floor in that specific position because they are feeling conflicted, crazy almost. The fifth scene is not a flashback, yet just a scene that helps tell the story. It contains a full body shot of Character C with two background characters and they are shown to be happy and having fun. In the background, Character B is shown to be observing them. They are very envious of Character C.

 It's time to begin planning out my music video. There's a major problem though.. I DON'T HAVE ANYONE TO WORK WITH! I'm so stressed out right now, everybody's group is full. I fell out with the only friend I was close enough to work with. I have no idea what I'm gonna do. So for now, I guess I'll just plan out ideas I have in mind until I can find someone who will act for me. I think I'll just have to ask my elementary friends if they can help. It may be difficult though, since we all live far apart and meeting up would be so difficult. Anyway, I should probably think of songs. I wanna use a rock song obviously, or a song from a similar genre. It needs to be a song that I can clearly visualize a story to. Wait... I just got an idea. I want to do the song Brutus by The Buttress. It's not a rock song, but it's about the Roman Empire and stuff, basically how Brutus killed Julius. The lyrics clearly lay out the storyline.  For my music video, I have to research different angles and editing softwares. There are also different types of shots that I need to familiarize myself with. And on top of that, I must think about if I want to use the same editor I used for the last project, or if I want to use a different one. Learning about angles and shots is kind of overwhelming for some reason. There's so many terms that need to be memorized and visualized. I only really remember high and low angles, which is kinda sad. Hopefully, I can get these terms down pat and be a pro at defining and identifying them. When it comes to researching editing apps and softwares, there's so many options. It's actually insane, like there's thousands of apps on the App Store and half of them aren't even worth it. Usually, it tends to be a hit or miss with apps, since ads can be misleading. Reviews help a lot though, so I always make sure to read them and even look up video reviews online.  I haven't figured out who I'm going to work with yet. This is actually incredibly stressful for me right now. I had planned to work with a few of my friends, but there were 5 of us. Apparently, the limit for a group is 4 people. Obviously, that wouldn't work with a group of 5. I had to separate and now I need to figure out who I'm going to group up with. I have to have this sorted quickly, as I'm already behind on things now. These deadlines and amount of blogs we need to be writing seriously stress me out. I have so much work to do for other classes and barely any time left over. Since I have no group, it's hard for me to meet the sentence requirement. I can't even pick a song if I have nobody to work with. But I guess I'll spill some ideas I was thinking of. I have a story idea that's kind of dumb, but it should work.  Starting last class, a new project has been assigned in class. I'm required to introduce myself again, but I don't mind. Hello, my name is Val and I'm a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale High School. This entry is for my AICE Media Studies class, and my new project is to make a music video. Here is my get to know me, or introduction blog. I am really into watching hockey and my favorite NHL team is Florida Panthers. I've been to a ton of their games and I guess I grew fond of that team. I'm actually really excited for the regular season to start, so I can go to more games. I look forward to this the most out of everything right now. I'm learning to ice skate because eventually, I want to get into hockey. But I think at this point it's just a dream, sadly. You never know though, it's never too late to learn. My favorite bands are My Chemical Romance, Green Day, and Fall Out Boy. I love listening to a lot of emo genre music, nu metal, alternative rock, hard ro
